War Machines Gym – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 15th May 2025

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of War Machines Gym’s facilities and services. By purchasing a membership, booking a class, or using our premises, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Memberships & Payments

• All memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  
  

• Monthly memberships are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel anytime with notice before your next billing date.
  
  

• You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are up to date.
  
  

2. Gym Access

• Members must check in via the entry system on each visit.
  
  

• Access is only permitted during staffed hours unless otherwise authorised.
  
  

• War Machines Gym reserves the right to restrict access for maintenance, health and safety, or special events with reasonable notice.
  
  

3. Health & Safety

• You must complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before using the gym or attending classes.
  
  

• You agree to exercise within your personal limits and notify staff of any injuries or health issues.
  
  

• War Machines Gym is not liable for injuries caused by misuse of equipment or failure to follow guidance.
  
  

4. Conduct & Behaviour

• Respect other members, staff, and property at all times. Abuse, harassment, or intimidation will result in immediate suspension or termination.
  
  

• Use of performance-enhancing drugs, alcohol, or smoking/vaping on the premises is strictly prohibited.
  
  

• Proper gym attire and footwear must be worn at all times.
  
  

5. Equipment Use & Etiquette

• Re-rack weights and clean equipment after use.
  
  

• Do not monopolise equipment during busy periods.
  
  

• Report any damage or faults to staff immediately.
  
  

6. Personal Belongings

• Lockers are provided for daily use only. War Machines Gym is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
  
  

• Do not leave belongings unattended in the gym or changing rooms.
  
  

7. CCTV Monitoring

• For your safety and security, CCTV operates throughout the facility. Footage is stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  
  

8. Classes & Studio Use

• Class bookings are subject to availability and may require advance booking.
  
  

• Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the class to avoid loss of credits or charges.
  
  

9. Minors

• War Machines Gym does not take responsibility for members under 16. We prefer that children under 16 do not attend the gym. If attendance is unavoidable, a parent or guardian must sign a disclaimer at the office. In such cases, the child must stay upstairs and off the gym floor at all times.
  
  

• Children are not permitted on the gym floor unless part of a supervised and approved class.
  
  

10. Suspensions & Terminations

• War Machines Gym reserves the right to suspend or cancel memberships for breaches of these Terms.
  
  

• Serious misconduct may result in immediate termination without refund.
  
  

11. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in law or gym operations. Continued use of the gym after changes means you accept the new Terms.
  
  

12. Liability

• You agree that War Machines Gym is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or loss/damage to property unless due to negligence on our part.
